Reel CafeOne block up from the Wilmington riverfront sits The Reel Cafe on the corner of Dock and Front Streets.  The multi-level restaurant is housed in a rustic brick building which boasts an outdoor street level patio and bar, full restaurant and bar on the first floor, sports lounge upstairs and of course, a beautiful rooftop patio.

Starter menu items include calamari, hummus, and oysters Alexander, which are served on the half shell with crab meat, cream cheese, onions, and green peppers. For lighter fare, diners can indulge in their rocket, Caprese, or Reel Club salad, and seafood lovers can take their pick from the Steamers’ menu which includes shrimp, clams, crab legs, and oysters.

Entrees include shrimp scampi, short rib ravioli, or the steak, cooked how you want it. The sandwich section includes options for everyone including vegans (the black bean burger) or vegetarians (grilled cheese).

The Reel Cafe has live music on their curbside patio nearly every night of the week. And if you choose to come to watch sports, the second floor lounge lets you order the full menu, features a full bar, and has HDTVs.

There is a late night menu featuring a highlight of their regular menu.  Brunch is also available weekend mornings with plenty of omelets and breakfast sandwiches.

Whether you’re looking for a great lunch spot or a locally loved restaurant known for their great pasta and seafood selections, The Reel Cafe has an ambiance and dining accommodations sure to please your entire crew.
